SPTD 1.59 is here!

This should fix the remaining issues encountered by Windows 7 Beta/RC users.

This release marks the availability of Windows 7 support for SPTD! The Duplex Secure forums state this is preliminary, but it seems to work pretty well with Beta 7000.

There’s also a new Daemon Tools Pro version that includes this SPTD build!

Daemon Tools Lite has been updated to 4.30.4.

It now supports Windows 7 due to the included SPTD 1.58 (11 days after Daemon Tools Pro 4.30.0305)

Daemon Tools Lite 4.30.0305 was released recently with the long awaited Windows 7 support, thanks to the new SPTD 1.58.

The first Daemon Tools update since 4.0.6, the release that brought Vista-compatibility, is finally here. DT 4.0.8 fixes a couple of bugs, adds an unattended installation mode and includes a newer version of the SPTD driver.

Duplex Secure’s SPTD 1.37 fixes a few problems such as compatiblity with InterVideo DVD Copy 5. The installer no longer displays the notice about debuggers in order to avoid users’ confusion.

This new version supports silent setup now.
Example: daemon408-x86.exe /S /D=F:\Some FolderNote that no quotes must be used in installation path even if name has spaces.
All critical errros will be still displayed no matter silent or not.
Case of parameters is important, eg. /s will not work.
Reboot prompt will not be shown.

A new Daemon Tools version hit the net waves today and it’s the first to fully support Windows Vista.

Released in both 32-bit and 64-bit builds, Daemon Tools 4.0.6 introduces full Vista compatibility and includes some new antiblacklist methods. A couple of bugs have been fixed as well.

The included SPTD driver has been updated too, fixing some compatibility issues.

DT4.0.6 still includes the SearchBar and SaveNow components, but they can be uninstalled at any time using the Add/Remove Programs option in the Windows Control Panel.
