Update: SPTD 1.58 - Windows 7 Support

Note: SPTD 1.59 is now available with even more Windows 7 fixes.

SPTD 1.58 is here!

This release marks the availability of Windows 7 support for SPTD! The Duplex Secure forums state this is preliminary, but it seems to work pretty well with Beta 7000.

There’s also a new Daemon Tools Pro version that includes this SPTD build!

    They do know that the version is now up to 7077? Has it been tested with that version (which apparently will be the RC release)?

    I’m sure the guys at Duplex Secure tested the new SPTD in several Windows 7 builds. There are also user reports on their forums that it works fine on Beta 7068.

    However, I only have Beta 7000 installed, that’s why I mentioned it in my note.

    Can anyone help me with what am i suppose to do with this SPTD file? i have windows 7 64 bit edition so i downloaded the 64bit file. I have installed it and then i tried to install daemon but it gives again the same message of incompatibility!
    Am I doing something wrong? please help :(

    Wow, thank you sooo much this really works, now i can install my daemon and alcohol at any time i want on my windows 7 32 bit, i am sooo grateful to you guys.

    Still not working with Win 7. ?? Reboot, Reboot, reboot is all I get.
