Well it doesn’t run fine on windows 7 beta because all downloads will be forced to max 10kb after a while……. searched the internet but there are no solutions what so ever…… Vuze won’t work either, windows detects it as a corrupt file… over and over again… other download locations won’t work either. Just wait for some patches I’m afraid.

Judging by what I was able to find on the Internet, it looks like the issue you’re experiencing might be related to a cache setting in uTorrent. Did you notice this message in uTorrent’s status bar: “Disk overloaded 100%” ?
Try disabling Options->Preferences->Advanced->Advanced Cache Settings->Caching of disk writes.
As a sidenote, I don’t seem to be affected by this issue (maybe because I’m running uTorrent on a Windows 7 beta installation inside a xVM virtual machine)

i first downloaded 1.8.3 after already having utorrent and when i did that none of the torrents i was downloading continued to download. then i went o back to 1.8.2 and nothing is downloading. it was working fine before and im not really sure what i did but is there some way you can help me fix it? i checked for seeders and most of them say 0 which is bizzarre since before i shut down last most of the torrents had seeders and peers. and even the ones with seeders arent downloading.
thanks for your time and i hope you can help

Some torrent trackers have strict lists of allowed and blocked clients. Since 1.8.3 is not a stable version yet, it may be blocked.
Make sure that uTorrent 1.8.3 is allowed by the trackers that publish seeds and peers for the torrents that give you trouble.

Check the “tracker status” field for those torrents.. does it say “Working”?
Do all these non working torrents use the same tracker?

the ones that say that are downloading but not downloading have a DHT tracker and it says working
