TreeSize Updated to 4.0.1
The powerful hard drive space manager and reporter TreeSize received today a minor update. Both Professional and Personal versions have been upgraded, fixing a few bugs related to the drives list, sorting and the XML reports.TreeSize is an excellent tool when it comes to managing your hard disks. It thoroughly calculates the disk space occupied by each file and folder, allowing for efficient usage of free storage space on each partition. Several display units can be chosen along with different sorting modes.
You can choose to exclude some files or folders from being analyzed by TreeSize, a helpful option for advanced users. The program also installs a handy Windows Explorer extension, which enables the display of a "real folder size" column in Explorer's details view mode.
TreeSize creates multiple types of reports, including customizable 2D/3D pie or bar charts, grouping items by size, by extension or by user (owner). TreeSize also provides a Top 100 Files list and a details view, with extensive information about the files/folders being analyzed. The reports can be exported as text or XML or even printed from within the program.
